Development Timeline & Costs

Normal design and development time are 4-8 weeks providing that content has been provided by the client.
50% deposit is required to secure dates in my schedule.
Please not if you are not ready by this time you may be subject to re-scheduling charges.
Prices do not include IVA or VAT or other taxes depending on where you are based in the world.
Some contracts are subject to intra-community supply.

Design & Revisions

I create look-and-feel designs with flexible layouts that adapt to the capabilities of many devices.You’ll have 2 revision opportunities and to provide feedback, if they are needed and one last big revision before going live. plenty of opportunities to review my work and provide feedback.If at any stage, you are not happy with the direction our work is taking, you will pay in full for everything I have produced up until that point and we can cancel our agreement.
The deposit is non refundable.

Site Testing

Before launch we will do one final round of testing, browsers, mobile, site links, forms, online payments etc.
Browser/mobile Testing
I test my work in current version of the major desktop browsers including Apple/Safari, Google/Chrome, Microsoft & Firefox.

Mobile: Coming from an app development background, mobile testing using popular smaller screen sizes is essential in ensuring that a persons experience of a design is appropriate as to the capabilities of the device they are using, I test in current versions of: iOS, Safari, Google Chrome.

SEO

I do not guarantee improvement to your website’s search engine ranking. But your website does include basic on page SEO.

Further Changes/Project Creep

Should you required any further work outside of the scope of this original agreement it will be charged at a rate of €70 per hour or we will re-assess the project and recalculate or decided what can be added at a later stage and a price can be agreed upon. .

Copyrights

You need to guarantee that all elements of text, images and other artwork you provide are either owned by your good selves or that you have the permission to use them.

You will own the visual elements that I create for this project. I will give you the source files and you should keep them somewhere safe, as I am not required to keep a copy.
On final payment you will own all the files, content and website for this project

Client Tasks

Provide all content (logos, copy/body content, videos, photos, etc.)
within a reasonable timeframe so as to keep the project on track.
I cannot be responsible for delay in the launch date if I do not receive content as discussed. The average time to build a site, once the time has been scheduled and booked in, is 4-8 weeks.

If you do not send any content at all and the site is left for a considerable amount of time, the deposit is non-returnable and you will get an opportunity to reschedule the time once in a 12 month period, you may also be charged a fee for rescheduling depending on my availability.

Displaying My Work & Testimonials

I love to show off my work, so I reserve the right to display all aspects of our creative work, including sketches, work-in-progress, design and the completed project in my portfolio and in magazine articles and in books.

I always follow up with clients for their feedback and a testimonial, it is an important part of the process. I do use your testimonials on my website and other promotional materials.

On occasion, I may offer a reduction for a particular case study.

Summary

I will always do my best to fulfil your needs and meet your expectations, but it’s important to have things written down like in this proposal so that we both know what’s what, who should do what and when and what will happen if something goes wrong.

You won’t find any complicated legal terms or long passages of unreadable text. I want to do what is best for both parties, now and in the future. The success of our collaboration on your project is important to me.

Payment Schedule

I am sure you understand how important it is as a small business that you pay the invoices I send you promptly.
As agreed, 50% is required to start work on the project, to book you into my schedule, I do that immediately as the amount clears.
Prices do not include IVA/Tax.

As mentioned, any additional work that is required outside the scope of this project proposal/agreement will be charged at a rate of €70 per hour. Does not include IVA/Tax.
